Typically, you’ll spot Wattrel at the beach. More specifically, Wattrel flies around the coastlines of Paldea, particularly in the continent’s southern regions. Some specific spots to search include the western coast of West Province’s Area Two, the regions surrounding Levincia and the beach southeast of South Province’s Area Five. On rare occasions, you may encounter Wattrel’s evolved form, Kilowattrel, in these areas.

With this in mind, Wattrel isn’t a Pokemon you’ll spot early on. The earliest area you’ll visit is likely Levincia, but you may also find one on your way to Asado Desert and Porto Marinada. In general, stick to the continent’s coasts for the best chances at spotting this bird Pokemon.

Once your Wattrel reaches level 25, it’ll evolve into its final evolution, Kilowattrel. You’ll also get the chance to learn Electro Ball! If you don’t want to go through the effort of leveling Wattrel, you can also look in the wild for Kilowattrel. However, it spawns rarely, so you’ll have to hope for some decent luck!
