To evolve Wattrel into Kilowattrel, you’ll have to level the Pokemon to 25. You won’t need any items or other requirements aside from this. While you’ll naturally level up your Pokemon as you progress through the main story, there are a few other ways to hasten the process:

  • Auto-battle using either your Wattrel or a high-level Pokemon.
  • Engage in normal Pokemon battles. While slower, it’ll net you more EXP per fight.
  • Battle Trainers you encounter in the Overworld.
  • Use EXP Candies on your Wattrel for quick and instant experience boosts. (Bag > Other Items > EXP Candies)

Once your Wattrel reaches level 25, you’ll see a message indicating that the Pokemon is ready to evolve! Wattrel will become Kilowattrel and gain the Electro Ball move as a bonus.
