If you’ve obtained an Igglybuff and have been using it in your party, you might be getting to the point where it isn’t evolving through leveling. That’s because Igglybuff is one of the handfuls of Pokemon that evolves differently. To evolve Igglybuff, it’s actually based on its happiness level. You’ll need to raise it enough that it evolves into Jigglypuff.

There are a few ways to raise your Pokemon’s happiness levels. First, using it in battle and keeping it alive will help increase its happiness. Also, once you unlock the ability to have picnics with your Pokemon, make sure Igglybuff is in your party. Feed it sandwiches, and go up to it during a picnic and hit the X button.

This will initiate the ability to wash your Pokemon. Cleansing them will restore some HP, but also raises your friendship with that Pokemon.
