How to Get Munchlax in Pokemon Sword and Shield

So, you’ve decided that you want to get your hands on a Munchlax. You may have already checked out our guide on how to get a Cleffa, and maybe you’re just wanting to continue the trend (we’ve linked the former here for your convenience). Well, the good thing about Munchlax is that you can actually encounter one in the wild – you don’t have to just hatch one. If you’re so inclined, you can hang around the Motostoke Riverbank during regular weather conditions and one might very well wander along. You can also get a Munchlax from a 2-star raid.

However, if you’re wanting higher chances of getting one of these adorable little critters, then you can employ the Cleffa-obtaining stat of, well, hatching one. You’re going to want to put a Snorlax with Full Incense together with a Ditto and stick them at one of the two nurseries in Pokemon Sword and Shield: there’s one on Route 5 and one by Bridge Field in the Wild Area.

Leave your Full Incense-holding Snorlax and its Ditto companion and just muck around until an egg is ready. Congratulations! Keep whacking away at parenthood here until you get the Munchlax that you’ve been waiting for. If you don’t already have a Full Incense, you can pick one up from the Herb Merchant who kicks around Hulbury. Now that you know how to get Munchlax in Pokemon Sword and Shield, do you need a hand with something else when it comes to traipsing around Galar?
