Which Marvel Snap Cards are Dropping from Series 5 and 4 in April 2023? – Series Drop Info

New Series Drop just dropped, yo!

Marvel Snap is known for keeping the content fresh, constantly adding new Locations and new Character Cards, and it seems that Marvel Universe can serve as an infinite inspiration, given how many lore pieces and characters were not touched yet. However, Marvel Snap is specific about how you obtain your cards, and in Marvel Snap, new cards are the most expensive and rarest to get out of the “loot boxes”. Due to Second Dinner trying to make this as fair game as possible for most of the players, some cards are made more available as time passes, so that newer players can more easily tune into the meta. This event is referred to as “Series Drop” and it’s now a tradition for it to happen once a month.

See something you like? Good. Save those Collector’s Tokens, save those Credits, and most importantly, do not claim your Free Series 3 Card yet.

Stature, M.O.D.O.K., and Ghost are dropping from Series 5 to Series 4. Stature hasn’t seen a lot of play sadly, and how would she, since Discard decks are not the meta right now? M.O.D.O.K. was produced as insane support for the Discard archetype in Marvel Snap but it sadly still fell short and back into obscurity due to a lot of moving parts in the M.O.D.O.K – Hela combo.

Ghost is a tech card for reactionary control decks but it never became a favorite among players.

Super Skrull, Shuri, Black Panther, Bast, and Valkyrie are dropping from Series 4 to Series 3. Super Skrull is a fun card that keeps the “Ongoing” deck archetype in check. Shuri is about to get nerfed into oblivion apparently, Black Panther is a Wakanda Season Pass card that will now be even more available, and Bast will be a nice addition to all people who want to play a Hit Monkey deck. Valkyrie is a great surprise card that turns around quite a lot of matches and humbles a lot of big monsters.
