Best Marvel Snap Ongoing Spectrum Deck (April 2023)

Look out for Enchantress lol

Ongoing decks have been a thing since the release of Marvel Snap due to the potency of the Ongoing effects and very few counters to them. Prima Games will show you an Ongoing Deck that can take you near Infinite Rank, if not into the Infinite Rank.

Deck Code for Marvel Snap Ongoing Spectrum Deck (April 2023)

Update for April 2023: Meta is as stale as it was, with not a lot of specific “Ongoing” cards making it into the spotlight.

The choices we made for this deck are not definitive by any means, since this deck archetype has its flexibility and we’ll give you suggestions on replacement cards if you don’t have something from this list, or you just don’t want to keep it for any reason.

# (1) Ant Man - Staple, but sometimes doesn't get the effect. # (2) Armor - Staple, guards your cards from Shang-Chi and Killmonger, prevents Destroy Decks. # (2) Colossus - Cool low-cost card to have. # (3) Mister Fantastic - Power distribution of Mister Fantastic is great. # (3) Captain America - Good to reinforce a lane (Location). # (3) Cosmo - A must in almost every deck today, to stop Enchantress mostly. # (4) Warpath - This card is too powerful, but it requires you to plan playing on two lanes only. # (5) Iron Man - Some people won't like Iron Man but it's a card that wins lanes sometimes. # (5) Professor X - Surprise your opponent by locking down an empty lane and then boosting Professor with the likes of Spectrum, Klaw, and Mister Fantastic. # (5) Klaw - Works cool with Onslaught and Iron Man, some people won't like him. # (6) Spectrum - Provides insane endgame push, especially on lanes with Iron Man # (6) Onslaught - Provides insane endgame push for Power # eyJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQW50TWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNckZhbnRhc3RpYyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ2FwdGFpbkFtZXJpY2EifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNvc21vIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXYXJwYXRoIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJJcm9uTWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLbGF3In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTcGVjdHJ1bSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQXJtb3IifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik9uc2xhdWdodCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ29sb3NzdXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlByb2Zlc3NvclgifV19 # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in Snap.

Replacement Cards for Ongoing Spectrum Deck

Off the top of my head, here are some cool cards to put in here (sometimes I mix things up too):

  • Sandman (weak power but stops Zabu from spamming the hell out of the board and you won’t feel as much damage by that effect, but play carefully)
  • Lizard (great 2-drop, forces opponent to commit hard to a lane in order to drop his power)
  • Omega Red (if you feel crazy and confident enough)
  • Mojo (if the meta goes crazy with aggro, works funny with Lizard)
  • Ebony Maw (if you feel like you can pair him with Warpath or don’t have Warpath)
  • Wong (if you want to put all of your money onto Spectrum and your opponent not having Rogue/Enchantress)
  • Mystique (double-up something cool)
  • Zabu (if you want to re-center your Ongoing deck around 4-Cost cards)
  • Silver Surfer (if you want to re-center your Ongoing deck around 3-Cost cards)
