The world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is filled to the brim with various terrifying monsters, but none are more horrifying than the Gore-variants of familiar beasts. Let’s see what we must do to locate the Gorechimera in this epic action RPG.
Where To Locate The Gorechimera in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you’re looking to locate a Gorechimera, you’ll want to head toward the Waterfall Cave shown on the map above to the northeast of Melve and east of the Outpost. There are technically two entrances, but if you want to sleep a bit before the upcoming fight, I would recommend taking this entrance, as there is a Camp available before the summit up to the cave. Cross the water using the rock bridge and head inside.
The Waterfall Cave is a bit of a labyrinth, with plenty of Saurians waiting inside to ambush you. Chop off their tails and get ready to take them down quickly, as they’re no match for your team. At least they aren’t the Rattlers like you’ll experience when you’re trying to track down the Goreminotaur.
Head toward the location shown on the map above, and you’ll find one of two different beasts waiting for you in the center of the flooded arena: either a standard Chimera or the dreaded Gorechimera. It seems the chance for them to spawn is randomized, so fight and defeat the creature within and come back later to see if it’s the alternate variant.
Thankfully, a standard Chimera is nothing major to deal with — focus your attacks on any of the heads to deal some major damage to them and bring down the beast quickly and painlessly. If you’ve encountered a Gorechimera, which will be signified by glowing red eyes and a different coat, you may be in for a more difficult battle ahead. Much like the Goreminotaur, they’re going to pack quite a punch that can drain your health and stamina quickly, so prepare some restoratives before going into this battle.
