Pokemon Home Price and Details – What We Know

Pokemon Home is essentially cloud storage for your Pokemon. If you remember the good ol’ days of Pokemon Bank, this is basically that but with more features. At this stage of the announcement process, Pokemon Home is compatible with Pokemon Sword and Shield, Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee, and is apparently also going to be compatible with Pokemon GO at some stage.

As fans may have already expected, there’s both a Free and a Premium version of Pokemon Home, so we’re going to break those down for you below. The app will be accessible via your chosen mobile device and also via the Nintendo Switch. On top of the features below, the Pokemon Home app is meant to basically be your one-stop shop for all things Pokemon. You’ll be able to pick up Mystery Gifts, use the Judge function to see how your team is doing if you’re on Premium, and also get Battle Points for use in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Pokemon Home Free Version – Services

  • Store 30 Pokemon
  • Put 3 Pokemon in Wonder Box at a time
  • Put 1 Pokemon in GTS
  • Participate in Room Trade

Pokemon Home Premium Version – Services

  • Move your Pokemon from Pokemon Bank
  • Store 6,000 Pokemon
  • Put 10 Pokemon in Wonder Box at a time
  • Put 3 Pokemon in GTS
  • Host and participate in Room Trade
  • The new Judge function

Of course, the main difference between the two appears to be the sheer amount of Pokemon that can be deposited into Pokemon Home, as well as the limitations on the usage of the Wonder Box and GTS features. Well, and the price – the Premium version of Pokemon Home costs $16 for a full year, $3 for one month, and $5 for three months. It looks like we won’t have long to wait for everything to roll out in February, but now that you’ve got a bit more information about the Pokemon Home price and details, what do you reckon?
