With a new set of Pokemon games comes brand-new Pokemon! As you venture into the world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and travel around Paldea, you’ll encounter plenty of Pokemon you’ve likely never seen before. One example is Capsakid, a tiny bird-like creature that evolves into a larger monster that looks nothing like a bird. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to get Capsakid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Get Capsakid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Capsakid lives exclusively in deserts and mountainous regions in Paldea. With this in mind, the main area to check is Asado Desert. You can safely access this area after your Pokemon reach around level 25. However, if you want to find this Pokemon a little earlier, you can check around West Province’s Area One and the northern parts of South Province Area Two. If you want a bit of a challenge, you can travel down to South Province’s Area Six and Alfornada for extra chances of finding Capsakid.
Make sure you’re keeping a close eye out while looking for Capsakid. This particular Pokemon is small in stature, making it difficult to spot in the wild. While it is a little bigger than a Foongus, it’s much smaller than many other desert-dwelling Pokemon.

Unlike many Pokemon that require you to reach certain levels, you’ll have to initiate Capsakid’s evolution using an item. More specifically, you’ll have to equip a Fire Stone onto the little guy. By doing this, your Capsakid will turn into Scovillain!
