Buzz Wax is a resource you’ll find exclusively in Starlight Strand. After feeding the Rainbow Fields Cotton Gordo plenty of vegetables, you’ll gain access to a teleport unlock node. Interacting with it opens a portal to Starlight Strand! Don’t head over here just yet, though. You’ll need a Fabricator upgrade first if you don’t have it already.

You’ll need a Resource Harvester to harvest resources like Buzz Wax, Deep Brine and others. To make it, head to the Fabricator in the Conservatory’s underground laboratory and make it using 450 Newbucks and 10 Cotton Plorts. If you don’t know where this area is, face your Plort Market screen and turn left until you find a staircase. Go down them, toss your materials into the Refinery and get the Resource Harvester upgrade from the Fabricator!

Once you have the Resource Harvester, you’re ready to start exploring Starlight Strand. After entering the region, look out for brown bee hives. Suck up the beehives to get Buzz Wax after a short delay. Along the way, you may also encounter yellow and black striped bee hives that contain Wild Honey. Be sure not to mix the two up! Check out the picture below to understand the difference between both hives:
