The Best Weapons in Persona 3 Reload

Each character has a weapon that surpasses every other equipment available attack-wise and has a powerful passive effect. These are deemed the Ultimate Weapons for that character, and they are by far the best weapons in Persona 3 Reload. All Ultimate Weapons will become available through the Mayoido Antique shop later in the game but require rare endgame materials to craft.

All Ultimate Weapons and How to Get Them in Persona 3 Reload (P3R)

You can craft Ultimate Weapons at Mayoido Antiques as soon as you get your hands on the base Ore, but the most important material is the Heart Item. Each weapon uses a Heart Item from a late-game Persona, so you need to fuse these Personas and level up enough before crafting your perfect weapons.

You also need some rare drops obtained by farming enemies in higher Tartarus floors and completing requests, so getting them is more of an endgame goal. Since weapons can be carried to New Game + (as long as you don’t start a NG+ on Merciless), you can use them later in a second run.

Below are all of the best weapons for every character in the game, as well as their required materials.

How to Get the Materials for Ultimate Weapons in Persona 3 Reload

If you want to get all the Ultimate Weapons, here’s a full list of how many materials you’ll need. Most of them can be obtained in the Adamah Tartarus block.

  • x5 Dead Moon’s Husk
  • x1 Nihil Black Model
  • x2 Nihil White Model
  • x1 Ergotite Shard
  • x29 Ruby
  • x45 Gold Quartz
  • x10 Diamond
  • x10 Topaz

Base ores (Dead Moon’s Husk, Nihil Black Model, etc.) and Gold Quartz are all obtained by defeating Floor Bosses in Tartarus or gifted by Elizabeth for completing requests. Alternatively, they’re also rare drops from random Monad Door bosses on higher floors.

Ruby is a rare drop from Eternal Eagle, while Diamond drops from Platinum Dice in Adamah. Topaz, on the other hand, is obtained from Carnal Snakes.

These items can all be obtained randomly in chests, so you might already have plenty of them even if you didn’t farm specifically for those. Getting the specific monster to show up is hard, and their drop rate is also not great.

Your best option is to keep heading into Tartarus during the nights to respawn random events (such as chests and doors) until you have enough materials for all of your desired weapons. Making use of the Fortune Teller is useful to spawn rare enemies if you want some extra cash/exp while you’re here.
