How to Find the Desert Biome in LEGO Fortnite

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where the Dry Valley Mesas Desert may be on your map, since each map in LEGO Fortnite is procedurally generated, meaning that every player has a unique map to explore. This makes pointing out exactly where the Desert Biome may be on your map nearly impossible, but there are a few things you can do to get a leg up on the competition to find out where this particular biome may be hiding for you.

Create a Plane or Balloon Platform for Height

Once you have unlocked the Dynamic Foundation option, the possibilities are near endless for what you can do. Once you’ve unlocked Flexwood, you’ll just need four pieces of it to get crafting. After you’ve made the platform, stand on it and attach balloons on opposite corners to ensure that it won’t float away without you on it, and then take to the skies. Keep an eye peeled for the desert, and then pop the balloons one by one to make a safe descent back down to the ground.

If you’re looking for something with a bit more flair, you could also create a Plane in LEGO Fortnite, but that is going to require a fair bit more work, so you may need to wait before you can make this happen. This is going to be the fastest method to get around this massive world, however, so it may be worth the time required to put one together.

Set Out On Your Own Two Feet

Another option you could try is just setting out on an adventure on your own two feet. The world before you may be rather large, but you can cover all the ground that you need by just exploring. After crafting some items, and maybe grilling up some food to bring with you, it doesn’t hurt to pick a direction and stick to your choice. You can always bring up the map to see where you’re going, and you’ll always have the chance to go back home.

It takes a while to make your way out of each of the biomes, so if you’ve been walking for a while and feel like you’re getting nowhere, don’t get disheartened. Since there is no fast travel available in the game beyond what you can create, you’ll just need to keep pushing onward to ensure that you can make it to your destination as soon as possible.

Consider Making A Car If You Want To Go Fast

This is another method that is going to require you to get creative, but you can make a very basic car within the world of LEGO Fortnite. This could be a speedier way to get to your next destination, so make sure you know how to build one. While you may not be able to steer while using it, you can at least cover ground a fair bit faster than you can on foot. Plus, if you’re playing with a friend, you can all go along for the ride together.

Preparing for the Dry Valley Biome

Since it’s a desert biome, you’ll need to be plenty prepared and geared up. This biome gets cold at night and hot in the day, so keep that in mind. You need gear with temperature resistance, such as charms. You should also make food that gives you these effects.

There are plenty of ways that you can find the Desert Biome within the world of LEGO Fortnite, just like there are countless things to do and see.
