Creativity meets no bounds in LEGO Fortnite, and you’re free to create whatever you want with the many blocks at your disposal. You can even make your vehicles if you’re tired of just running around all day, and here’s a quick blueprint for that.

How to Make a Car in LEGO Fortnite

There’s no in-game car crafting recipe, so you gotta improvise it all by yourself. Luckily, the game gives you a lot of incentive to make your vehicles such as cars with a few key block pieces. To make a basic car, you’ll need the following items:

  • 1 Dynamic Foundation
  • 4 Wheels
  • 2 Thrusters
  • 1 Activation Switch

Dynamic Foundations are crafted by using 4 Flexwood, while Wheels use 1 Flexwood Rod and 2 Flexwood each. It doesn’t matter if your wheels are Small or Large, both will do fine. Add them to the car and the first step is done.

Now you need to figure out how this thing will move. And we’ll use Thrusters for that, also found in Toys tab and made with 1 Wooden Rod, 1 Blast Powder and 1 Torch. Put them all together and choose between a Small or Large Thruster to accommodate your finished vehicle.

The finishing touch is an Activation Switch, crafted with 1 Wood and 1 Blast Power. Install it in your newly-finished car and hit Interact to start it up!

As much as this is awesome and easily one of the most fun things you can build in the game, the car’s far from being practical. There’s no handle, so you can’t turn it the way you want, and there’s no way to control your speed. If you’re not careful, you might end up crashing your car into the sea from which you won’t be able to retrieve it, so be careful!

But being impractical shouldn’t be a reason not to make one since riding an improvised car is still awesome, and can help you close some distance pretty quickly. But in the worst-case scenario, make sure you’re ready and stocked up to face any impending dangers you might come across during your wild ride.
