Where to Get Bits and Pieces in The Sims 4

Bits and Pieces are two new Eco Lifestyle currencies you’ll primarily obtain through recycling. One method is purchasing objects, going to your recycler and selecting them from your inventory. In particular, if you buy expensive items to recycle, they’ll often net you more Bits and Pieces. While this is one of the quickest ways to obtain Bits and Pieces, it is also the most expensive. Despite this, upgrading your machines will help you save money and increase efficiency.

A similar method is getting free items, such as gold medal rewards from parties and dates, and recycling those. If you go on multiple dates or have parties often, you’ll get things like the VIP Bucket, which you can recycle for extra bits and pieces.

If you’re low on money or don’t want to spend much, you can also dive into dumpsters for items. Not only does doing this net you a few Bits and Pieces, but you may also obtain objects to recycle later. You can also rummage through trash cans and public waste bins if you don’t see any dumpsters nearby. To boost your chances of obtaining Bits and Pieces from trash cans and dumpsters, activate the Reduce and Recycle Lot trait wherever you plan to explore. If your trash cans at home are empty, drag empty plates and dishes into the garbage bin before rummaging through them.

In The Sims 4, you can check how many Bits and Pieces you have by hovering over machines such as your Fabricator or Recycler. If you don’t have immediate access to these, you can also view them by checking your Household funds. Under your money, you’ll find two different numbers, with the screw icon indicating your total Bits and the banana icon showing your Pieces.

Using your newly acquired Bits and Pieces, you can craft items like candles, bookshelves, couches, and tables, depending on your skill level. You can also make eco-upgrade parts if you’d prefer to train your handiness!
