Eiscue Pokemon Sword and Shield Location Guide

So, you want to get your mitts on an Eiscue. This Pokemon is probably one of the weirder looking ones in Galar, and don’t even get us started on how Corsola have essentially died out due to global warming but this thing still rocks up with an ice cube for a head. Hasn’t Game Freak heard of lore continuity?

Issues with the average temperature of the Galar region and its carbon emissions aside, Eiscue has been proving a decently popular pick for those who have Pokemon Shield. Yes, that’s right, it’s a version exclusive so the only way you’re going to be able to get one in Pokemon Sword is if you have a mate kind enough to trade you. We have a full list of version exclusives right here if you’re wanting to check up on the status of another ‘mon.

However, if you do own Pokemon Shield, you can find Eiscues trucking along on Route 10 no matter the weather (which again, seems contradictory). If you’re sick of the scenery on that route, however, you can also head to the Lake of Outrage when it’s Snowing or Snowstorm weather to catch a glimpse of this elusive ice cube and penguin hybrid. Don’t ask us what’s up with its mouth and its eyes – we really can’t tell you, nor do we want to know.

Now that you’ve got our Eiscue Pokemon Sword and Shield location guide, finding one for yourself should be relatively easy as long as you’re patient; these critters have a decently low spawn rate, which means that you could be hanging around for a while.
