Since the early Zelda games on the NES, the Bow and Arrow have been one of Link’s go-to weapons, but Breath of the Wild elevated its mechanics to a new level. As with many other aspects of gameplay, the follow-up to the first true open-world Zelda game delivered even more improvements and innovations, making it possible to attach to arrows, well… whatever materials you have in your inventory, courtesy of the new Fuse ability! However, not all combos are equally effective, so let’s check out some of the best Arrow Fuse combinations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Best Items to Fuse With Arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

  • Arrow + Elemental Fruits – Attaching those elemental fruits (fire, ice, splash, shock) to the arrows will instantly add some elemental damage, very useful for hitting enemies with elemental vulnerability.
  • Arrow + Ruby/Topaz/Opal/Sapphire (any precious stone) – Great for big elemental AOE damage.
  • Arrow + Brightbloom Seed – Very useful for lighting the way in the dark Depths. Arrow + Puffshroom – Instant smoke grenade! A good tool for a stealth approach.
  • Arrow + Dazzlefruit – Use it to blind and disorient enemies.
  • Arrow + Keese Wings – Attaching those bat wings to the arrows will actually make them fly further increasing the range
  • Arrow + Keese Eyeball – Creates a homing arrow, ideal for hitting fast-moving enemies if you can’t be bothered to aim
  • Arrow + Bomb Flower – Big explosive damage, just be sure to shoot them quickly because they explode fast.

As with everything else in Tears of the Kingdom, feel free to be creative and experiment, because there are still many materials that can be attached to arrows that can be very useful in certain situations, whether it is doing huge damage or creating better conditions for stealth and avoiding opponents.
