Officially, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (or TotK abbreviated) is not available on PC, or anywhere else other than Nintendo Switch, for that matter. However, there are some unofficial, workaround ways to play Tears of the Kingdom on PC.

They were made by the community, with the alleged purpose of archiving and preserving the game for the future, when the Nintendo Switch consoles cease to function and exist a couple of decades from now.

Yes, you can emulate Tears of the Kingdom on PC, but we do not recommend the idea, or endorse it. Emulation of the game is not officially supported or approved by Nintendo.

When Will Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) Be Officially Available on Windows (PC)?

It’s highly unlikely that an official release of Tears of the Kingdom will ever happen for Windows (PC). I know that you should “never say never,” but this is one of the scenarios where “. Nintendo wants to protect its Nintendo Switch market, and that’s a valid enough argument from a corporate standpoint if you ask me.

While emulators themselves are usually legal in places like the United States, as long as none of the software violates copyright law, downloading games is very illegal. You cannot download ROMs of Nintendo games in any shape or form. We won’t tell you where to find them either.
