Where to Find Trolls in Hogwarts Legacy

While you may have already encountered trolls during the main story, there is a way to fight them in the overworld like a regular monster. Or, well, a crazy powerful one that can wipe your health bar in two well-timed hits. To find these big guys, you’ll have to travel past Hogwarts and explore the world around you until you find a Troll Lair.

Troll Lairs are locations similar to a spider, mongrel or Inferi lair you’ll encounter in various regions. The best one to go to first is in the Forbidden Forest, a bit west of Upper Hogsfield and south of North Ford Bog. However, you can also find them in other areas like Feldcroft. If you really want an adventure, you can venture past Poidsear Coast and find these lairs in places like Marunweem Lake. Each lair houses a troll you can fight and defeat to pick up some bogeys for your invisibility potions.
