You can also equip traits that influence how much damage specific spells and types do, the effectiveness of your combat items and other perks to improve your fighting capabilities. Naturally, as you pick up more items, you’ll have to sell them to make money and free up precious inventory space. Where to Sell Gear in Hogwarts Legacy Explained

Fortunately, you do not have to visit one specific place or region to sell gear. Instead, you can sell items to any vendor you encounter throughout your adventures. Some examples include the vendors in Hogsmeade, travelling merchants and small market stalls in various Hamlets. You are not limited to which one you have to visit and can go to any merchant you’d like. However, the ones in Hogsmeade are the first you’ll encounter and are some of the easiest to get to.

Once you start chatting with a vendor, ask to check out their wares. After entering their list of items, though, you may notice two icons: one of a stack of coins and one of a chest. The coins show the resources the store is selling, while the chest is your unused gear. Switch over to the chest to see your gear on full display!

Within this menu, you can begin selling whichever items you’d like, and as you collect more, you can return to vendors at any point to repeat the process. Different gear rarities will give varying coin values, allowing you to make some decent money along the way.
