Where to Use Spirit Carps in Genshin Impact

Yay to offering systems

If you’ve been exploring the Chenyu Vale in Genshin Impact, you probably collected a few of the Spirit Carps in your journeys. They can be used to get some extra rewards (including Fates) if you manage to collect enough of these and deliver them to their rightful place.

Where to Use the Spirit Carps in Genshin Impact

The Spirit Carps can be used in the Rainjade Oblation unlocked at the Chiwang Terrace in Chenyu Vale. To unlock the offering system, complete the main questline in the area (Chenyu’s Blessings of Sunken Jade) and start the A Wangshan Walk to Remember blue quest in Yilong Wharf with Huang the Third. Starting that second quest can be done at any time.

After the questline is done, continue to work on Wangshan Walk until you get The Cloud-Padded Path to the Chiwang Repose quest, which will lead you to a new area. The Rainjade Oblation will be available for you there.

Gather enough Carps from the map and bring them in batches of five to get extra rewards. There is a total of 50 Spirit Carps scattered around the Chenyu Vale, so it probably won’t take you as long as the Crimson Agathes in Dragonspine or the Lumenspar inside the Chasm.

Things get easier once you collect 40 Spirit Carps. You unlock a function named Votive Rainjade’s Revelation, which marks the remaining Spirit Carps in your map, so collecting those last ones will be a breeze. You also get an achievement for completing the Oblation, of course.

Note that the Chenyu’s Blessings quests can be quite lengthy, so it might take a good while to complete them if you’re reading all dialogue lines. And it also takes a lot even without reading. Set aside some good time for it, or just do it at your own pace until you’re finally done with it. Rewards are always worth it in the end, at the very least.
