As you roam the world of Pax Dei, you’ll inevitably stumble upon all manner of resources. There’s wood and rocks, as per usual in a crafting-focused game, but also flax, reeds, and clay to scoop up with your bare hands. Here is where to get flax in Pax Dei!

More specifically, I found my first few bunches of flax near rocky hills. The flax would grow up and around various rocks, including Gneiss and clay, both of which you’ll need in abundance. You’ll note flax is a reddish-orange color in Pax Dei, which certainly isn’t the brightest. As such, it typically blends in with the environment unless you’re keeping a close eye on your surroundings.

Why You Need Flax in Pax Dei

You will require plenty of flax in due time for a number of crafting and construction recipes. You may use flax to craft straw, various types of string, and even tailoring tools, for when it comes time to craft clothing of your very own.

String is perhaps one of the most useful byproducts of flax. You will need string for plenty of other crafting recipes, including clothing pieces such as shirts and pants. After all, Pax Dei does include some survival elements, so you’ll want to dress appropriately to avoid weather conditions.

While the game doesn’t offer traditional class, it’s still nice to play a part and dress for success, right?

Where to Store Flax in Pax Dei

You can store plenty of flax in your personal inventory, but over time it will start to bog down the available space. As such, you’ll want to revisit your plot frequently to drop off excess resources. For that, I recommend placing down a Simple Chest. You can drop off any unwanted items and resources, save them for crafting, or just give them away in due time.
