Bottle Caps are an exclusive item purchasable through the Delibird Presents exchange. Head to the Delibird Presents shop in Mesagoza, Cascarrafa, or Levincia and select General Goods to browse the store’s item selection. If you’ve defeated at least six gyms accessible through the Victory Road story route, you’ll find silver Bottle Caps for 20,000 Poke Dollars.

An alternative strategy for finding Bottle Caps is by completing Tera Raids. More specifically, you’ll want to focus on four-star raids or higher to get these as drops. However, your chances of finding these raids are low if you haven’t completed every gym.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet also have rarer, stronger Gold Bottle Caps you can acquire through Porto Marinada’s Auctions. While you’re not guaranteed to spot them, there’s a chance you’ll find a vendor selling this item when you visit. You can also find Gold Bottle Caps during the Academy Ace Tournament.

Once you’ve gotten your hands on some Bottle Caps, head to Montenevera’s Pokemon Center and run directly north to find the Hyper Training NPC. The Hyper Trainer allows any level 50 or higher Pokemon to raise one of their IVs – HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense and Speed. Using a Gold Bottle Cap will increase them all in one go.
