Where to find the Gold Scarab

The Gold Scarab can be found in the Abandoned Cave in Caelid. This is a tricky spot to find, as it is sitting on the side of the giant ravine that runs to the north in the region. It is also not at ground level, making it even trickier to find.

To get to the Abandoned Cave, players must make their way to Caelid. Here, a deep ravine runs north through the area, and the Abandoned Cave can be found on the side of it. Getting there is a little awkward, however. To the west of the Abandoned Cave is a Site of Grace called the Smouldering Wall. From here, turn east and make your way toward the Erdtree in the distance. Aim slightly to the right, and you will come to the deep ravine.

You will come to a section with an old tree crossing the ravine. You will have to use the tree as a bridge, but it is risky, and you are likely to slip. Some players may have more success using Torrent to get across the tree. The Abandoned Cave is also full of water that will give you Scarlet Rot, so be prepared. Make your way through the Abandoned Cave. Then you will need to take out the Cleanrot Knight at the end. After defeating the boss, you will be rewarded with the Gold Scarab Talisman.
