Where to Find Dumpsters in The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle

This is a judge-free zone.

A core feature of The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle is being able to dive into dumpsters to collect bits and pieces alongside old furniture to recycle. By reusing these materials, you can easily live off the grid and even fabricate your own items without having to fork out thousands of Simoleons. The first step to doing all of this, though, is finding a dumpster to dive into! Where to Find Dumpsters in The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle

Since dumpsters are an Eco Lifestyle-exclusive feature, you’ll want to check around the region of Evergreen Harbor, the newly added world for the expansion pack, for dumpsters. One place with numerous dumpsters nearby is The Waterfront, an industrial lot within Port Promise. The main dumpster near the Neighborhood Action Plan board almost always has garbage to collect, while other nearby ones allow you to nap. This is the most reliable way to dumpster dive, aside from having one on your home lot.

Another location to check is the Quarry Building in Grims Quarry. There is a dumpster near the Recycler that can fill up with garbage over time. While this dumpster is less likely to be full than the one at the Waterfront, it’s a decent alternative, especially if you visit the area often.

One last spot is Sprucewood Square in Conifer Station. Like the Quarry, you’re not guaranteed to find garbage in the dumpster here, but it’s another option if you want to take a nap, host a party, or visit this lot often.

If you’re not having much luck finding garbage in these dumpsters, you can also use the build menu to place the “A Very Fine Dumpster” on your lot, allowing you to accumulate garbage over time. As you continue to fill it up, you can dive into it for deals and meals, sort out recyclables or take a nap. If you have a partner, you can also “dive for thrills” or try for a baby in the dumpster.
