Where to Find Biggoron’s Sword in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

It's time to head down...

Tears of the Kingdom is filled with little references and anecdotes for you to find during your adventure; whether that’s through an ambiguous series of islands or some hieroglyphs on the wall, there’s always something to make veteran Zelda players smile. However, alongside visual references to previous timelines, there are also a number of weapons you can collect which are directly taken from previous games. Of course, Biggoron’s Sword was obtainable in Breath of the Wild, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting to collect in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where is Biggoron’s Sword in Tears of the Kingdom?

Biggoron’s Sword is surprisingly easy to find in Tears of the Kingdom, but it’s not so easy to acquire. You’ll need to start the challenge by heading to Skull Lake (3248, 3444, -0431). On the map, you’ll see the Skull’s left eye is slightly red, meaning it’s a chasm leading to the depths, and you guessed it – that’s where we need to go. If you head directly into the depths, you’ll land in Akkala House of Bones. It’s a singular dark room filled with skeletons, which is intimidating, but once you’ve landed, you’re one step closer to securing a strong weapon.

Once landed, you won’t be able to see the chest, and it’ll be sealed away anyway. You’ll need to initiate the boss fight within the House of Bones before you can get ahold of your prize. Once you’ve landed, a boss-level fight will initiate with a few Stal-type enemies, including Stalkoblins, Stalfos, and end with a Stalnox. You’ll need to defeat all of the above before the chest is free from its seal. Fortunately, they are pretty simple enemies to face, especially if you have Sage power on your side and don’t have to face them entirely alone.

Once you’ve defeated all the enemies, the chest will unlock from its trap as it would in a monster camp, and you’ll be free to collect your reward. Biggoron’s Sword is a pretty strong weapon, with a base damage of 36, which only gets stronger when fused with other things, so it’s a great weapon to have in your inventory if you’re heading toward any intense boss battles. That said, much like every other weapon, it will break eventually, so it might be one you just want to keep safe until you really need it.
