World of Warcraft: The War Within introduces an interesting main city to the expansion named Dornogal. It makes sense to make Dornogal your home, but there are times you want to go from one city to another. You physically cannot go from Dornogal, which is the Isle of Dorn, to any of the other main zones without using a teleporter or a portal. Here’s a quick guide showing the portal location in the Isle of Dorn and Azj-Kahet so you can travel between zones in Khaz Algar.
Isle of Dorn and Azj-Kahet Portal Locations in World of Warcraft The War Within
The Isle of Dorn portal that takes you to Azj-Kahet is located in The Fissure area in the Dornogal main city. Since the Azj-Kahet zone is also connected to the Hallowfall and the RInging Deeps, the portal in the Isle of Dorn to Azj-Kahet is the only portal you need to get around Khaz Algar.
Once you take the portal, it’ll take you to the Weaver’s Lair city in Azj-Kahet, and if you need to go back, you can use the same portal again. While you can have access to both cities, Dornogal and the Weaver’s Lair, in the same location, it doesn’t matter as much which one you choose to make your home.
Both have their pros and cons. The Weaver’s Lair is the best place to make your home if you are the type of player to finish all the daily world quests consistently, especially if you are also looking to delve. Traveling from Dornogal to The Weaver’s Lair eats up a lot of your time if you do these activities on a daily basis.
However, if you make Dornogal your home, you will have easier access to all the things a city would provide such as an auction house, profession trainers, vaults, and more.
It is up to you which city to make your home. It is best to decide after finishing the campaign. If you have problems finishing the Uniting Severed Threads quest, which is basically the end of the campaign, you can check out our guide on fixing the bug.
