The northern tundra in Tears of the Kingdom is scary to explore. You must fight against the bitter cold, and climbing ice-covered mountains is no walk in the park. You’ll want plenty of cold-resistance foods and sticky elixirs to help you navigate this area!
But what if you forget some supplies? What if you want to bring a horse with you? Fortunately, you can find a quiet place to rest, restoring hearts and providing enough energy to get you through your journey. If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover where Snowfield Stable is in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Snowfield Stable Location in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
Snowfield Stable is near Orochium Shrine, east of Hebra Mountain and southeast of Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower. The coordinates for Snowfield Stable are (-1634, 2575, 0233).
Since there is a large chasm separating Hebra and Central Hyrule, flying over it is risky unless you have a couple of stamina upgrades. I initially used the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower to fly over and unlock Oromuwak Shrine, running east along the path to Snowfield Stable. However, you can also fly directly north from the Skyview Tower, cutting your travel time in half.
Alternatively, if you’ve visited this area previously and have either Rospro Pass Tower or Pikida Stonegrove Tower open, you can glide over to Snowfield Stable from these locations, running the rest of the way if needed.
Regardless of your method, bring plenty of cold resistance foods and armor! It’ll eat away at your health quickly, eventually leading to a game over. As long as you protect yourself from the elements, you’ll have a smooth trip with few enemies in your way.

What Can You Find at TOTK’s Snowfield Stable?
With Snowfield Stable in such a cold place, you won’t find a lot of hustle and bustle here. However, the diligent and hard-working Penn will arrive here to interview a local at coordinates (-1640, 2582, 0233) if you’ve started the “Potential Princess Sightings” quest line. You can speak to them both to begin the “Zelda’s Golden Horse” mission.
You’ll also find Varke, the stable owner, at the counter. Here, you can register horses you tame in the wild, buy a night’s rest at the inn in exchange for rupees, and gain a Pony Point when you first arrive. If you’ve visited multiple stables throughout your playthrough, you can exchange them for rewards at the stable ledger.
