When Will the Rest of Crafting Release in Warhammer 40K: Darktide? – Answered

Crafting systems be praised!

When Warhammer 40K: Darktide launched, it brought with it many changes including those made from the pre-order beta. This includes the Shrine of the Omnissiah, a crafting station that lets you upgrade the rarity of your weapon. At launch, this was the only thing you could do to your weapons, with the remaining features locked away to be “Open Soon!”. Given how important these features are, you may be wondering when they’ll finally come to the game. Here’s when the rest of the crafting system will release in Warhammer 40K: Darktide!

To set expectations appropriately, Fatshark hasn’t given an exact date to any of crafting’s remaining features just yet. Instead, they’ve stated in a previous Steam post that the four other crafting features will be rolled out gradually over the course of December. Barring any delays, this means that before January we should see all four make their appearance in-game. Given that this is Fatshark, though, we suggest you go in expecting some delay of sorts.

All four crafting modes will have a major part in the game, allowing you to do all sorts of new things with your favorite weapons. This includes swapping both the Perks and Blessings on a particular weapon and combining Blessings to become much stronger. This won’t include creating your own weapons and re-rolling your perks, as Fatshark has stated that for lore reasons this isn’t possible. We wouldn’t blame them though, as this tends to be Games Workshop being very protective of the rich lore of Warhammer.

Many other features are on their way to Darktide, even outside of crafting. These include new maps and weapons previously shown, along with new subclasses set to release once per quarter. If you’re a fan of Darktide and want more, you’re likely in for a steady stream of content.
