What is the Shrine of the Omnissiah in Warhammer 40K: Darktide? – Answered

We'll be doing more than praying to the Omnissiah here.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide has a lot of kiosks in the hub for you to keep track of. There’s the Psykhanium/Meat Grinder over on the right, the Mission Terminal at the other end, and three different kiosks on the left side. It’s a lot to cram into the Mourningstar’s small space, but it fits it nonetheless. One such kiosk has some players a little confused, though we’re here to explain. Here is what the Shrine of the Omnissiah is in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

What Does the Shrine of the Omnissiah Do in Darktide?

If you’re looking to reach it, you’ll want to go right from the spawn of the Mourningstar. There will be a lit-up kiosk with Hadron hanging out within the center, along with a servitor modifying what looks to be a Lasgun at the center. Interacting with any of the terminals will open up the Shrine of the Omnissiah, letting you Entreat Hadron (and eventually Combine Blessings).

Going into the Entreat Hadron menu, you’ll see four different options with one available as of writing, Consecrate. To Consecrate an item, select it in your inventory and click Consecrate. This will let you upgrade a white weapon to green, a green weapon to blue, and so on and so forth. Upgrading an item naturally improves it, providing it with an increased Rating, and additional stats, along with either a new Blessing or Perk. This will cost you both Plasteel and Diamantine, both of which can be found as resources in each mission you come across.

Beyond Consecrate, the other options aren’t available yet but have been touched on by Fatshark. Each of the other actions will do the following once implemented in the game:

  • Refine Item – Change a Perk on a designated weapon to another.
  • Earn Blessing – Extract the Blessing from a weapon you no longer want to be put on another.
  • Re-Bless – Exchange the current Blessing on a weapon for a Blessing that you have extracted.
  • Combine Blessings – Combine three Blessings into one a single Blessing to be applied to a weapon.

The current Crafting system at the Shrine of the Omnissiah in Darktide may be a bit barebones, though in the coming months should become far more robust. Once it is improved, we’ll be sure to update you.
