Genshin Impact 3.8 Live Stream Announcement

When Is The Genshin Impact 3.8 Special Program Stream? – Answered

You blink and boom, it's here

Say goodbye to the 3.x patches, as Genshin Impact will be soon receiving the 3.8 update, being the last in the Sumeru series. And all points out for the Traveler to be headed for a temporary area once more to enjoy summer. Secret Summer Paradise is the name for the upcoming patch, and we’ll have a sneak peek at its content later this week.

The next Special Program Stream, showcasing all of the new content, banners, events, and features to be implemented in the update, just had its official date announced, and it’s quite sooner than you think.

Genshin Impact 3.8 Special Program Stream Date

The special live will be up on 6/23/2023 at 08:00 AM (UTC-4) on Genshin Impact’s official Twitch channel. The program will later be rerun on their Youtube channel an hour later in case you missed it. A trailer for the update is to be expected at the date, alongside various announcements on the final update and, of course, those sweet one-day-only codes, giving up to x300 Primogems by using them all.

As per tradition, the final update brings us to a new area only accessible during this version, complete with exploration objectives, treasures, bosses, world quests, and much more for us to explore. The main event is also tied to the area, and all of their previous iterations have brought at least two new skins for characters, with one of them being distributed for free.

Livestreams usually last for about 30 minutes, but this one is expected to be a little bit longer because it’s very likely we’ll have our first (non-leak) look at Fontaine, the next region to be brought in the 4.0 patches.

The Hydro-themed area is heavily inspired by France, and we’ve been seeing tons of event NPCs that come from there lately. Charlotte is the most prominent example, being the face of the latest 3.7 main events and set to be a future playable character.

We’ll know more about this next update and the future ones in just a couple of days, and maybe it’s finally time for Hoyoverse to leave Eula out of her no-rerun jail. It’s been almost a year and a half. Let her go, please!
