Slime Rancher 2 hosts a mix of slimes from the original game and brand-new ones that reside exclusively on Rainbow Island. As you venture around, you’ll see some familiar, slimy faces and new ones. With new slimes comes new food to gather and feed them! Since the game is in Early Access, this list will continue to grow as more content releases. The favorite foods and diets may also change over time, so be on the lookout for this too. As more information is revealed, I’ll update the list accordingly!

Despite the game having new areas to visit, you’ll find slimes from the first game in these places too. For example, the first area you visit, Rainbow Field, has Pink, Tabby and Phosphor slimes alongside the new Cotton slimes. Venturing further into areas like Ember Valley and Starlight Strand introduces new slimes like Batty and Ringtail alongside Rock, Boom and Crystal slimes.
