How to Unlock the FJX Imperium in COD MW2 & Warzone 2

The Intervention is back!

The most hyped weapon addition in Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone is the FJX Imperium, also known as the Intervention from the original MW2. As a DLC or a seasonal weapon, players will have to unlock the sniper rifle before using it in a custom loadout.

Because the FJX Imperium and the Cronen Squall are both the initial Season 3 weapons, unlocking them won’t be a difficult endeavor for most players. However, it will take more than a few hours of grinding to get what you want without paying. We’ll cover exactly how you can unlock the sniper as soon as possible.

COD MW2 and Warzone 2 – How to Unlock the FJX Imperium

Both of the new weapons are tied to the Battle Pass, which is essentially how the last few Call of Duty games have handled new launches. The main difference, though, is that the MW2 and Warzone 2 pass has altering pathways. In essence, you’ll have to grind out Battle Pass tokens to level up the pass and then make your way toward the Intervention.

On the Season 3 Battle Pass map, you’ll find the FJX Imperium located at C4. This means you’ll need at least 15 Tokens to reach this side of the map to unlock the weapon in full. Make sure to turn off the new auto token unlock as well, otherwise, the game will automatically unlock rewards, making it 20 tokens instead.

In the future, there will likely be some store bundles that feature the new sniper rifle as well. However, these can get expensive in COD MW2 and Warzone 2, so it’s easier to just get the 20 tokens that you need. Soon enough, you’ll be running around sniping like the old days.
