How to Unlock the Cronen Squall in COD MW2 & Warzone 2

Bring the storm to Season 3.

Two new weapons have been added to the roster in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 with the release of Season 3, which means it’s time for some more unlocks. The Cronen Squall and the FJX Imperium add some heavy firepower to the mix and players will want these as soon as possible.

Because these are the first two weapons added in Season 3, these will be the easiest to get of the bunch. However, you’ll have some grinding ahead of you in COD MW2 and Warzone 2. We’ll cover how to unlock the rifle in this guide and what to expect from the weapon.

COD MW2 & Warzone 2 – How to Unlock the Cronen Squall

Both of the new weapons are available at launch and that means they’re tied to the Season 3 Battle Pass. Just like any other season in Call of Duty, you’ll have to level up the pass in order to earn both the Cronen Squall and the FJX Imperium. MW2 has its own method for the tiers though.

Players will earn Tokens as they level up and they can unlock new sectors on the Battle Pass map. Everyone starts at the same sector and then they can start to branch out to different paths. That means it could take you 25 Tokens to reach the Cronen Squall or it could take 50.

There is also a new feature that allows players to go through a linear path on the COD MW2 Battle Pass. However, you’ll still need a similar amount of Tokens. Remember, though, that you’ll have to manually use the unlock tokens to receive your new Cronent Squall. With some XP grinding behind you, the heavy-hitting Battle Rifle will be yours to use.
