How to Unlock Every Character in Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania DLC
There are 21 new characters added with the Ode to Castlevania expansion for Vampire Survivors. With the possible exception of one unlock, all can be done within the Ode to Castlevania stage. Here are all the characters that can be unlocked:
- Leon Belmont: Find and open the first coffin in the Ode to Castlevania stage
- Trevor Belmont: Defeat the Giant Medusa Head with Leon Belmont
- Alucard: Defeat the Doppleganger with Trevor Belmont
- Grant Danasty: Evolve the Dragon Water Whip
- Sypha Belnades: Defeat Slogra and Gaibon with Grant Danasty
- Christopher Belmont: Evolve the Alucab Sword
- Simon Belmont: Evolve the Jet Black Whip
- Juste Belmont: Evolve the Wind Whip
- Sonia Belmont: Find seven Heart Refresh items after opening the Stallion Gate
- Charlotte Aulin: Find seven Mirrors of Truth after unlocking the Capra Gate
- John Morris: Evolve the Raging Fire, Ice Fang, Gale Force, and Rock Riot across any amount of runs
- Hector: Find seven Karma Coins after opening the Scorpion Gate
- Julius Belmont: Find and open the second coffin in Ode to Castlevania
- Soma Cruz: Defeat Gergoth with Julius Belmont
- Jonathan Morris: Evolve the Hand Grenade
- Yoko Belnades: Defeat Abaddon with Soma Cruz
- Eric Lecarde: Evolve the Javelin
- Shanoa: Evolve the Iron Ball and Alucard Spear
- Maria Renard: Complete any stage with Shanoa and Juste Belmont
- Richter Belmont: Evolve the Guardian’s Targe
- ???: Find Dracula as Richter Belmont
The unlock list flows with one character and then with the next to create a chain. Either unlock a character within the stage, then evolve that character’s default weapon to get another one. Unlocking all characters will take many runs through the castle.
