The legendary Belmont family from the Castlevania series has been added to Vampire Survivors with the Ode to Castlevania expansion alongside a new map and weapons. There is now a list of different whips to choose from, so here is how to evolve all eight whip lines in Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania.
How to Evolve All Eight Whips in Vampire Survivors Ode to Castlevania
While a few dozen weapons have been added to Vampire Survivors with the Ode to Castlevania expansion, one of the first weapons that players will use is the classic whip. There are eight whips to choose from after unlocking some characters, and all of them have a weapon evolution when paired with a passive item.
Each of the whips in the table below must be at max level before they can be evolved. The passive items do not have to be at max level but could be by the time you can evolve weapons during the run. Once you have both items and are at max level, defeat any boss or mini-boss after the ten-minute mark to drop a treasure chest containing the weapon evolution. If you are working on multiple evolutions, the reward will be random.
Here are all eight whips, their evolutions, and which characters have them as their default weapon:
Weapon | Passive | Weapon Evolution | Character |
---|---|---|---|
Alchemy Whip | Tirajisu | Vampire Killer | Leon Belmont |
Dragon Water Whip | Attractorb | Hydrostormer Tip | Trevor Belmont |
Jet Black Whip | Stone Mask | Mormegil Tip | Christopher Belmont |
Platinum Whip | Clover | Cross Crasher Tip | Richter Belmont |
Sonic Whip | Skull O’Maniac | Crissaegrim Tip | Sonia Belmont |
Vanitas Whip | Hollow Heart | Aurablaster Tip | Julius Belmont |
Vibhuti Whip | Candelabrador | Daybreaker Tip | Juste Belmont |
Wind Whip | Crown | Spirit Tornado Tip | Simon Belmont |
