How To Turn Off Promity Chat In BattleBit Remastered
When you boot up BattleBit Remastered, you’ll find yourself at the starting page, where you’ll have the option to join into a quick game of your choosing or mess around with some of the different available settings. You’ll want to go directly into the Settings Menu.
Here, you’ll have the option to mess around with all of your different settings, no matter if you’re looking to adjust something as simple as your POV or Controller Settings, to things like Audio Settings. From here, you’ll want to click on the Audio button, as we’ll be adjusting a few different things in this particular menu.
In this menu, you’ll find a variety of different options to tweak your audio experience exactly how you would like it. If you’re looking to just jump into the game without the extra volume of players screaming in your ears, you’ll want to turn the following settings down to zero:
- Master VoIp Volume
- Steam Friend VoIp Volume (Unless you are playing with friends)
- Party Friend VoIP Volume
- Clan Friend VoIp Volume
- Squad Leader VoIp Volume
- Teammate VoIp Volume
- Enemy VoIP Volume

You can also turn off your microphone during this step if you don’t want other players to hear what you’re saying. Just switch off the following settings:
- Opt-In Voice Chat
- Death Microphone
I live in an apartment complex, and things can get a little noisy around here, so to save my team and opponents the hassle of listening to myself talking to my cats and any other random noises, I always make sure that I have my microphone off.
