Lego Fortnite Defense Featured

Defense is extra important in LEGO Fortnite as it helps you mitigate any damage you take, something extremely valuable in a survival game. But this stat is just as rare as it is important, and there are only a few selected ways of increasing it.

How to Get More Defense in Lego Fortnite

Defense can be increased in Lego Fortnite by equipping Charms. These special accessories have a dedicated equipment slot and will grant you special effects which range from granting you more life to giving you weather resistance. All charms will increase your defense by a certain amount, with said value increasing the rarer the Charm is.

There’s no proper armor to be equipped in the game, so using the best charms you can is the only way to increase your defense. All Charms also increase your maximum health, which gives you even more survivability in general. The most basic Charms give you only 1 Armor, while the strongest ones available go all the way up to 14 each.

You can equip up to three Charms at once and you should do it as soon as you get your hands on an early Charm recipe to guarantee some extra survivability. You can also equip a Shield, but these won’t give you any extra defenses. They can deflect enemy attacks and keep you safe, though, so they’re still valuable in their own way.

Remember that while defense is important, you also need to have a good offensive to survive the many dangers that await you on your next step. Crafting some powerful swords or bows is just as necessary, so don’t neglect those for making Charms only. Some stronger weapons will have you scavaging the whole map for resources, but they’re worth it in the end.
