Hitting the open world portions of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth opens up plenty of possibilities for Cloud and company. Let’s see what we’ll need to do to help Chadley understand the Stormwing threat in Junon a bit further as we tackle Fiend Intel 4 together.
How To Pressure and Stagger Stormwing in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
If you’re looking to take the wind out of the Stormwing’s sails, you’ll need to fight the wind with Aero/Wind Materia. If you’ve got someone like Yuffie in your party, you can use her Ninjitsu skills to attack the Stormwing threat, or you can find and equip Materia that will benefit you in this particular fight. Any Aero Materia or skills will do, as the Stormwing gets thrown right into the Instapot with these skills – that’s right, we’re Pressure cooking these bad birds.
If you decide to give these birds of prey a quick scan using the Assess Materia, you’ll find that their only major weakness is to Aero spells, and a glance at the yellow text on the left side of the screen will help reaffirm that we need to smash them with Aero Materia as much as possible to bring them down. While they’re Staggered, you can continue hitting them with Aero, as most other attacks are going to do less damage.
How To Complete Fiend Intel 4: Weather the Storm in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To complete Fiend Intel 4: Weather the Storm quickly and easily, you’ll need to work toward the following objectives:
- Pressure Stormwing.
- Stagger Stormwing.
- Defeat all enemies within the time limit. (1:30 minutes)
These birds move quickly, so be sure that you’re ready to start building up your ATB gauges just as fast so you can start slinging some spells around the battlefield. Just keep the pressure on them and keep them Pressured as well to quickly bring this battle to a close.
