Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Multiclass (BG3)

How to Multiclass in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)

To multiclass in Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll first need to decide where you want to go withy our character. Mingling and mixing your classes, even just a little, is a great way to get the most out of your characters’ builds. And in Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s as easy as kicking a Goblin into a chasm.

If your character is ready to level up, the process is easy. Just open up their level-up profile like normal by clicking on the golden arrow on their profile picture. On this menu, you’ll see a small icon of a crossed wand and axe. Click it, and you’ll be able to select which class you want your character to take. 

Once you’ve chosen, just press accept.

If the button to multiclass isn’t available, it’s likely you’re not on the right difficulty setting. To multiclass, you must as least be on Balanced. To change your difficulty, press ‘ESC’ or the three lines in the top right-hand corner of your screen. From there, select ‘Difficulty’ beneath sessions. You can then select Balanced or harder at no cost or need to reset.

If your character is not ready to level up yet but you’d really like them to multiclass soon rather than later, resetting them is always an option. Go to camp and speak to Withers, and he will reset their entire character for 100 gold. You can then multiclass like normal.
