Disney Dreamlight Valley has numerous quests that ask you to find or craft certain materials. Whether to make furniture, repair a building or cook food, you’ll often find yourself running around, searching for random resources until you find them. In particular, you may have trouble figuring out how to craft fiber and rope for NPC gifts, quest requirements or furniture crafting. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to make fiber and rope in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Get Fiber and Rope in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Fiber and rope are refined materials made at a crafting station. You can use the one at Scrooge’s store or build your own! From here, you’ll find both options under the “Refined Material” tab in the crafting table.
Since you need fiber to make rope, we’ll start there. You need one seaweed for every five fibers you plan on crafting. You can find seaweed by fishing or picking it up in various regions. If you plan on fishing for seaweed, avoid targeting the bubbling circles in the water to increase your chances of finding some.

Buying Fiber From Kristoff’s Stall
If you don’t have the resources to craft fiber, you can also buy some from Kristoff’s Stall once you unlock it! Each fiber costs six coins, and you can buy up to 20 each time it’s in stock.
You can also buy other helpful items here, including coal, hard wood and fabric, among other materials. Just make sure you have enough money to afford some!
How to Craft Rope Using Fiber in DDLV
Once you have your fiber, it’s time to create rope! You’ll need eight fiber for each rope you make, meaning you’ll need at least two seaweed for each batch you craft. This also means that you may have some fiber left over after making your rope, allowing you to make some furniture or save it for next time.
