Hardwood Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Much like softwood, hardwood is a resource found on the ground near trees and stumps. However, unlike softwood, you won’t find it in areas like the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. Instead, you must venture deeper into the world and access one of the following areas:

  • Forest of Valor
  • Glade of Trust
  • Frosted Heights
  • Sunlit Plateau
  • Forgotten Lands

Depending on how far you are into the game, you’ll likely unlock Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust before exploring the other areas. If you enter the Forest first, you’ll find numerous trees and stumps scattered around that can potentially house a few hardwood spawns. Similarly, the Glade of Trust has several massive trees that also have a chance of having them.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Hardwood and Softwood Differences

You may wonder just how similar hardwood is to softwood. After all, they’re the same type of material located in different regions. Unsurprisingly, they’re nearly identical, aside from hardwood having a red-brown color while softwood has a gold-brown appearance. Because of this, it can be difficult to distinguish the two.
