How to Make Fabric in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You need five pieces of cotton to make one fabric in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You’ll find cotton exclusively in Sunlit Plateau, requiring 7,000 Dreamlight to access. From here, there are two main ways to get cotton.

The first method is by travelling to Sunlit Plateau and gathering cotton off the ground. It’ll randomly spawn in a few spots around the plateau, allowing you to get some without spending money or exhausting yourself. However, this strategy won’t work too well if you need a lot of fabric.

The second strategy is to buy cotton seeds from Goofy’s Stall in Sunlit Plateau. When you visit the market stall, there’s a chance that they’ll appear as a daily purchasable item, allowing you to buy, plant and grow your cotton. Unlike foraging, you can buy as many as you’d like, as long as you have enough Star Coins. Each packet of cotton seeds costs 42 coins, making it fairly cheap if you only buy a few.

Using this farming method, you’ll have to wait 25 minutes until the cotton grows. Throughout this time, you’ll have to water the plants to keep them alive, so check on them occasionally until they’re finished growing! Afterwards, you can harvest them and bring them to a crafting station to convert them into fabric.
