When you start your journey in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, there will be a serious lack of healing for Sargon. However, there are eventually multiple methods for you to gain some health back, and I’ll cover them in this guide.

How to Heal in PoP: The Lost Crown

To heal in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you need to press up on the d-pad to consume a health potion. Your first health potion is unlocked just before defeating the first boss in the prologue section of the game. Until then, you won’t be able to use any potions for Sargon. But luckily there are all kinds of ways to heal in the game.

Along with the health potions, there are orbs from strong enemies that can drop and heal you. In very rare cases, I have had random enemies provide their own small boost to healing upon defeat. Most of the time, you need to take down tougher enemies for health orbs though. Otherwise, there are only two other methods to get your health back.

How to Regain Health in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown:

  • Use health potions.
  • Interact with the Wak-Wak Tree.
  • Kill tough enemies for healing orbs.
  • Equip Amulets that provide healing bonuses.
  • Use the Bahman’s Breath Athra Surge.

Once you begin to unlock more Athra Surge abilities, you can use one called Bahman’s Breath in the level two slot. This ability drops down a healing pool on the ground that Sargon can stand in to regain health back to full. I have used this on multiple occasions when all other potions are gone to get one last boost.

Amulets and the Wak-Wak Tree are your last options to heal. The Wak-Wak Tree will reset all your heal, potions, and arrows any time you interact with it, much like the Bonfire from Dark Souls. At the tree, you can move around Amulets that you have collected in your adventure and some of them provide health on attacks or upon death. With everything together, you have plenty of ways to regain health.

Aside from healing, you may also want to increase your damage to stop enemies from reaching you in the first place.
