How to Increase Your Damage in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Sharpen your blades

As each area in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown gets tougher, you will need to increase your damage for Sargon’s weapons. Stats are based entirely on your gear, and in this guide, I’ll go over how you can upgrade your damage in multiple ways.

You can increase your damage by taking an Azure Damascus Ingot and at least 250 Time Crystals to Kaheva’s Forge in The Haven. The Blacksmith Goddess will offer you new amulets and the option to upgrade all of your equipment when the forge is unlocked through the main story. Kaheva will upgrade the overall damage of Qays and Layla as long as you have the resources to offer.

On top of Sargon’s dual swords, you can upgrade the Bow of Menolias to give it more damage with each shot. Just keep in mind that you need to find more Azure Damascus Ingots for each additional damage level and you will need far more Time Crystals in reserve. Even with the required ingots, some upgrades will continue to be locked behind story progress.

  • Equip amulets that boost damage like the Four Royal Stars.

Aside from directly upgrading the weapons that Sargon carries, your only other option is to find amulets that provide unique damage buffs.

Upgrade Damage With Amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

There are multiple amulets in the game that will boost specific types of damage. I personally used the Four Royal Stars amulet that boosts all melee attack damage in the air. Once you master air combos and unlock the double jump, this amulet can be a significant increase in your attack output.

Other amulets will offer up a massive damage boost in every way at the cost of your overall health. So you’ll find in many cases that the increase in power comes at a cost to another stat. But at least we can upgrade the Amulets at Kaheva’s Forge to take advantage of even more stats.

To make your amulet-changing trips easier, you can use the fast travel system to return to the forge.
