How to Get Witherhoard in Destiny 2
There’s something magical about Kinetic Grenade Launchers. And Witherhoard might be the best among the best, with versatility and value in both end game activities and the Crucible. But how do you get it?
Initially, Witherhoard was part of the Shadowkeep DLC, with its own Exotic quest any everything. But now Guardians have a much easier option. You’ll first need to buy the Shadowkeep Pack from the shop, which will allow you to access Shadowkeep Exotics.

Then make your way to the tower and head to the Monument of Lights, which is in the wall between Lord Shaxx and Banshee-44.
Head to Shadowkeep Exotics, and you’ll find that Witherhoard is available. Unfortunately, it comes at a high cost. Expect to pay the following;
- 1 Exotic Cipher
- 100,000 Glimmer
- 150 Glacial Starwort
- 1 Ascendant Shard
But if you’ve just bought the Shadowkeep Pack, you’ll also be able to grab three Shadowkeep Ciphers. These Ciphers will pick any three non-raid related Shadowkeep Exotics and claim them free of cost. And Witherhoard is easily one of the best Shadowkeep Exotics out there.
