How to Get Wild Honey in Slime Rancher 2

Wild Honey is a resource native to Starlight Strand in Slime Rancher 2. After feeding the Cotton Gordo in Rainbow Fields enough vegetables to get it to pop, you can access this area. Once it’s gone, you can unlock the teleport node that opens a portal to the region. However, before going on your honey farming adventures, visit your Fabricator.

You’ll need a Resource Harvester to get Wild Honey and other related resources in the game. You can create the Resource Harvester at the Fabricator in the underground laboratory using 450 Newbucks and 10 Cotton Plorts. In your Conservatory, look towards the Plort market screen and down the stairs to your left. Descend them, deposit your resources into the Refinery, and head into the Fabricator to make the harvester.

Once that is over, head back out and travel towards Starlight Strand. Once you’re in the area, look out for yellow and black striped bee hives scattered around the region. Use your newly upgraded vacpack to suck up the hives, revealing Wild Honey after a few seconds. Along the way, you’ll likely find brown ones, which house Buzz Wax. The picture below shows the visual difference between the two.
