To get Street Sweeper, complete the last Striker mission, “The Showdown.” First, you must join the Strikers by visiting their temporary headquarters at Madame Sauage’s Place in Neon City. There, speak with one of the faction members to join the gang.

If you’re willing to travel across star systems for a short excursion as a member of a street gang in Ebbside, Neon City, then you can acquire Street Sweeper in Starfield relatively fast. It’s neither a problematic gun to acquire nor overly powerful beyond the early game.

It seems like so many of the unique weapons in Starfield are pistols, and that’s okay for the early game. But for most of us, a trip to Neon isn’t likely in the cards until we’ve leveled somewhat. And even then, how many will join a street gang in Ebbside on a whim? However, you should. Just take a look at these stats on the Street Sweeper:

  • Weapon Type: Pistol
  • Damage Type: Physical
  • Damage: 3
  • Ammo Type: 6.5mm
  • Magazine Size: 25
  • Fire Rate: 180
  • Range: 24
  • Accuracy: 74.7%
  • Mass: 2.85
  • Value: 1723
  • Mod Slow 1: Hair Trigger
  • Mod Slot 2: Reflex Sight
  • Rare Effect: Lacerate – Randomly applies bleed to targets.
  • Item ID: 002F3B1A

As you can see, Street Sweeper, based on the Kraken submachine pistol, features a shallow damage output of just 3 Physical Damage. It makes up for this with its high rate of fire, making it the ultimate DPS weapon for an early-game build.
