Starfield: Where to Buy the Narwhal Ship

The Narwhal can be purchased at Ryujin Industries in the Neon Core. You’ll need to head to Taiyo Astroneering, which can be accessed from the elevator. From here, head to the sales floor on the right and talk to Veronica Young, who will sell the Narwhal for 455,450 credits.

While that is obviously a hefty sum of Credits, you can significantly reduce the cost of the Narwhal by upgrading the Commerce perk, which allows you to reduce the cost of all purchases by up to 20% at Rank 4.

The Narwhal is also a Class C ship, which requires you to upgrade the Piloting perk to Rank 4 before you can pilot it. This feat is worth it, however, as the Narwhal has a Grav Jump distance of 30 Light Years, a Shield strength of 995, and a cargo hold capacity of 1593.

The Narwhal is the best overall ship you can buy for your money. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. That being said, if you are looking for sheer combat excellence at the cost of other important features, the Abyss Trekker is likely what you’re looking for.
