Starfield players can get the REV-8 vehicle by purchasing it from the Ship Services Technician. There are multiple Ship Services Technicians around the universe, but you will find them at major hub cities like New Atlantis and Neon.

Talk to any Ship Services Technician and choose the option to purchase a vehicle. The REV-8 will instantly pop up, and you can buy it for 25,000 Credits. It might be a hefty sum for newer players, but there are ways to earn money fast in Starfield.

You don’t need any special ship or hangar to house the land vehicle, and it will simply appear next to your ship when landing in a remote area to be used. The REV-8 does not feature any upgrades, but players can change the color how they would like.

The REV-8 is a handy vehicle that makes those trips in the barren craters much easier. It comes outfitted with a laser weapon with regenerating ammo to take out smaller enemies with ease and a boost jump to handle uneven terrain. Here are the controls for the REV-8 vehicle:

  • Accelerate – Left Stick/WASD
  • Enter/Exit – Hold B/Hold E key
  • Boost – L3 or RB/Shift
  • Boost Jump – Y/spacebar
  • Scan – LB/F
  • Shoot mounted weapon – RT/Left Click
