Where to Find The Arsenal Door Code in Amnesia: The Bunker

If you didn’t get the Detonator Handle, now is the time to get it with our guide for the Detonator Handle. The Code for the Arsenal Door can be obtained by listening to the radio transmission in the Communications room. You will find the Communications room within the Soldier Quarters, at the western edge of the Bunker. You can always consult our Bunker map:

Basically, from the Administrator’s Room, take the right door (as you leave the Generator room), turn left, and then immediately right, and then turn left before the Prison area (you will see signs on the walls).

The Communications door is locked and you cannot breach it, so you will need a key.

How to Get The Key for Communications Door in Amnesia: The Bunker

The Key for the Communications Door can be located in the Security room. The security room is actually not that far away, you just need to, as you are facing that door, turn right, and move until the end of the hallway. In this Security room, you will see a box hanging on the wall. Lift the lock handle and open the door. In there, there will be a note, in which you will learn where is the key being hidden. The note will point you to the name of the soldier whose bed you are supposed to be examining in the barracks (that are also conveniently nearby).

You should search under the blankets, in the baskets, post boxes, maybe in the lockers next to the beds, or on top of the beds. It’s random, so I cannot help you much. However, I have a layout of the beds for you, so that you know where to look (approximately).

Also, as a courtesy, here’s a screenshot of the key (at least, where I found it). It will help at least a fraction of you all.

But wait, this is not over yet. After you open the Communications room, you will establish that there’s no power in the room. Now, you need to follow the cables on the wall that will lead you to the Utility room. It looks like it’s close, but it’s not. You need to go all the way around, through Barracks B (the southern ones on the map). You need to get into the Mess Hall, and from there, up north to the Utility Room. You will need to break a padlock and once you gain access to the Utility Room, flick the switch and power up the Communications room.

Now, go back to the Communications room to catch the transmission (You need to have fuel in the Generator).

Once you reach the radio, you can turn it on and listen to the codes. The Code will be written in your journal under “Codes” as usual, but you can write it elsewhere in case you get killed by the Beast.

It’s important to note that the Beast will probably come and search for you, so you can escape to the nearby cupboard and close the door to wait it out. Or, you can hide under the table, though that leaves you with more chances to be seen.

That’s all! After so many endeavors, you finally heard the code, and are now in a position to grab the Dynamite from the Arsenal. If you need help with that, make sure to check out that article.
